Editor's note:As the Year of the Horse approaches， an exhibition exploring Spring Festival traditions opened on Tuesday at the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum， also known as the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum， in Beijing.

The exhibition traces the evolution of traditional calendrical knowledge and Chinese New Year customs， highlights intangible cultural heritage items associated with the horse and its symbolic meanings in Chinese culture， and examines the close links between Spring Festival traditions，真钱投注 heritage preservation and food security. A wide range of elaborate festive decorations and lanterns further create a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and family reunion.

Several exhibition sections feature guided explanations and live demonstrations by heritage craftspeople， while inviting visitors to participate in hands-on cultural experiences. The exhibition runs from Jan. 20 to March 20.

The Year of the Horse will begin this year on Feb. 17， according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
